Last week I showed you the Burj Al-Arab, the world’s only 7 star hotel in Dubai. On January 4th, 2010 Dubai opened the Burj Dubai, the world’s tallest skyscraper. It is almost TWICE the size of the last world’s tallest skyscraper. America talked about building the world’s tallest building when the twin towers fell. Why do you think we haven’t built anything to rival this building? Why don’t we have the technology to make a skyscraper like this in America and would we want to? I think the Americans do not want to take the chance of hundreds dying. And were in a million dollar debt. Why should we take the chance just to have hundreds dye? Why should we take the chance of going millions of dollars more in debt? And airplane flying course will have to change. And there is a specific place planes have to fly.

i think that they make them really big because they wont it to look good or they get more people to come there or they jest wont to make money or if you wont to go to the top they maybe charge you more or they jest
because they khow people like to go although way to the top so they charge more to go up or they jest like it like that or really tall

I think that people would want to make this building because it’s something new and rare. I think why we don’t have the technology to do this is because it need’s a lot of technology to do this. Why I think they don’t have a rival to this building is because it cost’s to much to build something like this very tall building. I think that we the American’s would like it but then again we would not. Plus I think we don’t have enough skilled and brave construction worker’s to do it. This is why I don’t think we need that building.

i think they have not built anything yet because they think it might happen again. and they should not build them again because they are afraid it might happen to where it will kill thousands of people again. and it would take millions of dollars to rebuild them again. they don’t want to get into debt just to build towers we don’t need. we already have to pay china money so why get into debt when we have to pay money to china.

i think we havent built a skyscraper is because it would be to much money to build one. we also would not have any use for it. we could probably use it for a job building but it would cost to much for us to do that. they would probably raise taxes. if our government wasnt so poor we could make a skyscraper to replace the twin towers.

I think its because we don’t have the money because of Haiti relief. We have also spent a lot of money on re-pairing New Orleans. Plus, we could be having the fear of another Terrorist attack. Or they just feel like it’s a waste of time. I don’t really care who has the tallest tower.

I believe that one of the most likely many reasons that we have not been able to produce or construct a building like this is for the fact that we are in a large amount of debt to other countries, and having to spend billions of dollars on a building would only bring us that much further into debt. Also, since the job market right now is in poor condition, it would be difficult to find a company or business that would be able to occupy the space; let alone the number of employees needed to fill a suitable population of the average persons inside of the building.

Well in my opinion there are a lot of reasons why here in America we have not started making towers like that. Well first off who wants to repeat 9/11 again? No one. Thanks to that constant fear we stopped making tall buildings. On the other hand the rescission, which feels like a depression, really put our economy to the ground. I mean the entire world is in that situation. Although the middle eastern countries don’t have that problem because they benefit form petroleum. Here we have a 12 trillion dollar debt. If you don’t know 12 trillion looks like this: 12,000,000,000,000. We don’t have money for a building like that.

It would be pretty cool to have the tallest building in the world.we can’t build one because we don’t have enough supplies to build it and we wouldn’t have enough people to build it. it sounds pretty cool but there are many more important things than building it. like the law and education. another important thing to worry about than building it is health care. It sounds cool but we can’t do it because we don’t have the time and money for it. we also don’t have the supplies and people for it either. it would take about 2 to 4 years to build it.

there are lots of reasons we don’t have the technology to rival that skyscraper. well we don’t have that stuff. over across the seas they create more stuff than. i mean that’s what i think. well because they don’t really have the stuff that we do. it’s like anything that they find they like make something out of it. one time in Ms.Bratcher we was watching this video about somewhere in Asia. this family had hooked up a car battery up to there t.v and got it to turn on. that’s like inventing a new thing. but one of these days we are going to make more skyscrapers. and plus our high stuff is going to be big.

we do have the tech to do it. but it would be kind of bad to. also we couldnt afford to do it with the money problem. it would also attract terrorist like on 9/11 it could happen all over again. the people could die if some thing happened like it fell there could be a bigger explosion and more people could be killed by a falling building and die. plus it could end up costing like 1 billion dollars and the goverment would have to get like a loan or something. it could take years to build it and then it would more money to paint it or put stuff in it then they have to buy the furniture or t.v’s. also how will they get that many people to make it and pay them it would take like 1 thousand people. plus the other things they have to put like a parking lot it would take even more people to do it and more money. plus what are they going to do when they dont need it sell it no one would buy it cause of the price and no one has that kind of money. if no one buys it they have to destroy it and they wont get any money for it and it took them years to build. what would happen if you had kids they could fall right of the edge and die the same for adults and other employes that work there like the dude that washes the windows he could fall and hurt himself. then he could get sue for a lot of money. how are they going to pay all those bills for everything they use. plus if something got broken like a pipe or a window how much do you think it will cost to fix or replace something from a building that cost 2 billion dollars so it will cost you a lot of money to fix something there. or maybe it can hit a plane thats flying but dosent see you a lot of people could die and destroy your family and your building. there gose like 12 billion dollars out of your pocket. how much do you think it cost to stay one night there like 23 thousand dollars for one night and some one can come and kill you they trow a bom or something.

I think that one of the reasons we haven’t yet created a rival building is because we have to keep 9-11 in our mind. If we build another tall skyscraper what if it becomes a terriosts next target? Money, man power and many many hours gone to waste.

I think maybe so they dont take the chance of knocking it down. Killing hundreds of people like what happen on 9/11. That was to tragic to risk happening again. Or it is because we just have not had the time to build it back up. We have been doing other projects, we cant be the best at every thing.

there are a lot of reasons why we dont do that.
1 – we dont have the money.
2 – we dont have the space.
3 – we dont need it.
4 – we are scared teariest will knock it down
5 – we are the best at almost everything else so we dont need to beat them
