DESCRIBE the differences that exist between older model Rear Projection Big Screen TV’s and newer smaller LCD/Plasma/LED Big Screen TV’s BESIDES the size of the TV itself? Watch the 3 videos before you answer. (You must write a paragraph of AT LEAST 8 complete sentences or you will get ZERO CREDIT)

They each have different size’s. Like the old one’s their really small and fat. And usally dont have and good picture. All of the new Tv’s you can see what ur watching. They have lots of channels. they look really nice cause their taller and skinner. And the tallest one is probally a 60 inch. But the old one’s are like a 30 inch.

T.V. today have better quality. You don’t just pick up a random channel. If you have cable you don’t have to worry much about missing out on a channel (if you pay for it). You can also record a show while watching another. Some can record more channels then others. Older T.V. usually go in and out of your show. Some older T.V. don’t always play your shows. They just play whatever has the strongest signal.

a plasma is better. the plasma has h-d. the old TV will break before the plasma. and the plasma just looks better. more people will buy the plasma. even tho the plasma cost more i would get the plasma. plasma has better sound. the plasma has better quality.. i bet my friends would say the same things i said.

i thing t.v are much bedder then they have ever been before because before t.v were really little in they did not us cable so the scream was mes up in you could not watch nothing in now the t.v are much bigger then they have ever been before like before t.v were really little now t.v are up to 105 inches but i thing a plasma t.v is the best because they are bigger in bedder to watch movies on

The difference between the older and newest T.V’s is not only the size but also the picture. another thing is how it look’s see the old one is big and heavy and it take’s up a lot of space unlike the newer version of T.V. See the newer version of the T.V is thiner and take’s up a lot less space than the older T.V but it is also a lot lighter than the old one to. But also there’s a higher price than your older one because the T.V is more advanced than your older one. and your old one will just pick up whatever signal is the strongest. And your new one if you pay for it correctly you can watch whatever you want instead of trying to find a signal strong enough to watch.then you will get mad if you can’t watch your favorite show. This is a couple of way’s old and new T.V’s are different.

Well I think the sound and images are better than the first big screen TV because, when ever you turn the volume up the sound would not be clear. but with the plasma you do not have to worry with that problem at all.

the diff is that the screen is bigger n wider on the newer and smaller n wider on the older TV’s but the picture on the older TV’s don’t have good quality and graphics, but i think the newer ones do. 😮

I DON’T REALLY SEE MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT IT IS A TV THAT I CAN WATCH MY FAVORITE TV SHOWS ON IT.

On newer televisions you get more channels and HD and you can watch movies and record shows and pause in the middle of a show. on older televisions you really just get basic cabial

The older T.V were little . They didn’t have that many chanels. They had maybe 15 shows on. They didn’t get cable. The flat screens T.V are bigger. They have cable. They have way more T.V shows. They get more color shows.

The difference is that you can do more things on the new tv’s then you can do on an older tv plus there are flat screen tv’s and there better and the picutre of the screen is more clear and you can see it easier

i like plasma television better. first off it bigger and better. second off there is people who cant see little television and now there is a bigger on where they can see. the sound is louder because sometimes when people are talking during a movie i cant hear well when there big television i can hear perfect even when people are taking to me. and the little ones are just old,fat and small. but there is a higher price to them that what sucks bout it. and the t.v. looks better because it is better.

The diffrences is that newer tv have better picture then the old tv. the screen of the new ones are thinner and wider. The tvs on the old ones have bad quality and not very good graphics.
And plus old tv looked dull and boring….

the newer televisions have the monitor on the back so it reverses the screen and you get a better picture.on mthe t.v back then they where veryy large. they didnt have much quality to them. the screens wheres usually made of glass. and the pictures where not that good. on the lcd its much smaller the smallest i ever seen. they have made it flexable but they will have trouble trying to find a way to keep the layers of plastic on while the t.v is working.

i thnk that the difference is on the quality. The olde version u have to change bolbs in the t.v. Newer tv u have veriaty of lcd and plasma as of for lcd do not tend to burn down but plasma are better for movie or something like that in the dark and lcd is better for games.

Old rear projection models have light bulbs. They aren’t all built to last very long. LCD T.V.s are built to handle video games without burning in an image. They are best used for lighted areas. Plasma T.V.s are best for dark areas. You would watch movies and sports on these. LED T.V.s are flexible. They are meant for on the go viewing.

The old models are too big and are a hazel to carry around.The older models are also kind of blurry to me at least.LCD are better for video games. Which is an plus for me but not other people.Plasmas are better for movies. Which to me is no use because I don’t watch movies to much.The LED are more portable.Which is great for me because I travel too much.

The Newer Plasma and LCD tv’s are different than the old Projection tv’s because The newer tv’s seem to be more functional that the older tv’s. they also have better A/V outputs than that of the older tv’s.

The diffrent between the two is that there are flat screen tv’s that are very skinny. And the older ones are very fat. I like the flat screens are better.

LCD Television’s are used more for gaming as Plasma’s are more for the movie quality the LED TV’s are better for traveling. Seeing as how I don’t travel, and I don’t really watch movies I would prefer the LCD. The new Television’s are better in quality than the older ones are. We still have a bulky box set.

There are key differences between Plasma, LED, and normal TV’s. These differences are what determines the price and quality of each. Normal televisions have been around since the late 1900’s. Many people have come accustom to this and have created television a normal recreation due to the easy entertainment. Although, with advanced technology and a wider range of materials/ideas…many new concepts have become available to the public such as the plama screen TV & the LED TV. Both of these new versions have used more diverse and advanced science to produce a much higher quality of image and sound. With all of these new ideas coming into play….it is becoming easier and easier for todays thinkers to add onto the list of conveniances added onto these present-day sets.

Well to me the televisions size was, of course, one of the most notable changes. Also the quality of the movies and shows is way better than the old fat televisions. The sound is better and so is the picture. When I switched to plasma television form my, what looked like, 5 inch television I was blown away by the quality of the picture and sound. The sound is more clearer and the sound in more debt. I could hear things I normally wouldn’t and see things I missed while watching a movie or show. Also my video games had better quality than it already had. I could hear better the sound and when I plug in a stereo it sounds even better. Although better things are coming out there. People thought television and internet will never be invented imagine what else we can make.

Flat screens and old tv’s are diffrent because flat screens have a better picture than a regular picture. And older tv’s have fuzzy picture and sometimes you will need an anteena. Also with a flat screen, there are bigger and better remotes to the tv. But the older tv’s have older type of remotes. Flats screens are HD. Flat screens have great sound. You Can hear it extra good. Thats What i think.

the projection television is a projector at the bottom of the screen and is reversed. so it will appear on TV. The difference between a ldc and a plasma is that if you want to watch tv in a dark room you will want a plasma if not you would want a plasma. plasma is best for movies and sports. if you want game than lcd.

I think there all different in there own way. small ones are travel size. big ones are good for living room. But mostly there all the same. even if there different size. well not exactly the same kinds of t.vs. some are H.D some are flat screen. you can put some in cars and some are really skinny. new ones are made every day or every year better and newer.

the projector TV is a projector at the bottom of the screen. the difference between LDC and the plasma is that that the plasma is better for movies. the plasma is better to see. also hears it too. if you want to watch your movies in a dark area you should get the plasma. the old TVs will get messed up before the plasma’s do. flats are great. my parents have one. i love plasmas my self also. if you don’t you are crazy.

i think the older t.v.s were to small and to wide and didn’t have that good of a picture and the volume isn’t as loud as on the plasma t.v.
the plasma is skinner and thiner the the regular old t.v.s and the plamsa t.v has HD, better sound, and a better picture.

The difference between the older and newest t.v. is the size and the picture. The older t.v.s had worse picture then the new ones. The new t.v.s are bigger in size you can get 42 in. t.v.s now. You could not do that with the older t.v.s. The newer t.v.s are also flat. The new ones cost more but you get better things for them. You can watch whatever you want on the new t.v.s if you pay. It does not take all day like the old ones.

there alot of reasons the new big screen is better then the other. the sound got better and the picture is tight. i wish i had one. the old was a projeter in plus it can break easier. what i mean by that is the screen it aint stable enough. but the new is built like a brick. and it is called the lctv and it cool !!!! but those are reason which one is better. people play there video games on the lctv. watch 3-D movies, watch tv, sometimes even plug your ipod to it and listen to it with great sound. that is some of the reason the lctv is cool.

The plasma and the LCD are better to me. They have better picture to, like H-D. And they have better remotes to. Their more sleek. They weigh a lot less because their skinnier than any other TV. And I think the LCD and plasma have better sound. They actually make you feel like your in what ever your watching. I just think that they make it a whole lot better for the family.

the big screen tv is way bigger. the new big screens are flat and 🙂 small.and the smaller ones are like flat screen computers.and i have a small lcd. and so does my mom and little brother and we have to new big screens one in the kitchen and living room. and the older big screen is heaver. i like the newer ones better because you can hang them on your wall. and the older ones they just sat there.
